The 4 files in this directory contain my 1992 Ph.D. dissertation:

	"Analytical And Structural Polymorphism
	 Expressed Using Patterns Over Types"
	 
It is in a (physically) more compact format (two columns, smaller type 
and smaller margins) than the version available from University Microfilms 
International. 

The file contents and sizes are as follows:

In trying to minimize the number of pages, I've used the "larger printer
area" option on the HP LaserJet drivers; if you have this option available
when you print, you should use it. On the other hand, I think only running
heads and page numbers would be at risk if you lack the option.

The dissertation uses a Macintosh font of my own creation (Logic Serif), 
which used to cause no end of trouble for people trying to print it. Newer 
printer drivers now seem to include the font properly, so it should be OK.
