CS 445: Computer Graphics

Access the Network Drive

To access the shared network drive called gorr-classes, you need to do the following:

• On Windows: click on the Computer icon on the desktop, and click on "Map Network Drive". Select any unused drive, and enter \\groupfiles.willamette.edu\workspace\gorr-classes in the Folder textbox. Click Finish.
• On the Mac: Click on the icon "Connect to your Willamette Home Drive" and log in. Go to the menu at top and select "Go->Connect to Server...". Enter smb://groupfiles.willamette.edu/workspace/gorr-classes

Code::Blocks and Libraries
Note: all of these libraries can be obtained from our shared drive on gorr-classes.

• Code::Blocks - You want to download the version which comes with MinGW
• Glut 3.7.6 binaries for Windows
• Glew
• Freeglut 2.8.1: binaries for MinGW/Windows, source.
• MinGW - "Minimalist GNU for Windows", wiki
• Simple OpenGL Image Library - a C library for uploadong textures into OpenGL
