Research Paper Specification
CS 495: Senior Seminar, Fall 2009

Rational

1. To report what you have learned through the research portion of your project.
2. To practice your writing skills in the context of computing.

Requirements

1. Length 10-15 pages, typed, double spaced (~2500-3500 words).
2. It should be a survey of your project topic and it should provide you with the background you need to complete the project.
3. At a minimum, it should have the following sections
   • Abstract
   • Introduction
   • Survey of Existing Work
   • Conclusion
   • Bibliography
4. Format will be discussed in class.
