Students implement their project (proposed in CS 495). Weekly meetings offer a forum for progress reports and practice presentations. A final write-up and presentation of the project is required. Required for majors in Computer Science.
Class: Wed: 4-5:30pm in Ford 202
Class time will mostly be spent giving project progress reports, practice presentations, and giving feedback to your classmates. Attendance in required. Late work will be penalized.
Students should email a weekly status report (e.g. on Thursdays) describing 1) what you accomplished this past week and 2) what you plan to do for next week. This should be more than two sentences. You should be maintaining a daily journal to keep track of your ideas, things you've learned and things you accomplished. The status report will be a summary of this journal.

In the context of this class, plagiarism is defined as representing someone else's work as your own. Cheating is defined as violating stated rules for an exam or an assignment. Plagiarized work will receive a grade of 0 as will any assignment in which cheating occurred. Both plagiarism and cheating will be reported to the university.
