The computers in Ford 202 are dual boot. If you hold down the "options" key as the computer boots up, it will give you the option of booting in Windows. If you do nothing, it will boot up as a Mac. At the moment, it does not matter which you use. However, for some of the things we do later, you will need to be working on the PC side.
If you are working in Ford 202 booted to Windows, there can be confusion with the Mac keyboard. To see the mappings of a PC keyboard on a Mac, go here.
For some things on Maya, you will need the middle mouse button. On the Mac, you need to make sure that it is set properly. Go to Apple->System_Preferences and click out Mouse to open up the settings window for the mouse. Make sure the middle mouse button (roller) is set to Button 3.
