A: Good job! /OR/ Let me help you: phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, and semantics.

B: I think the first area we'll study is phonetics, which is the study of speech sounds, right?

A: Oh yes ... perception and articulation of speech sounds: understanding and saying speech sounds.
