Computing areas under the Normal Curve with the TI-86
The best way to do this is with TI's freely downloadable
statistics package. It will give values for a number of distribution
curves. Look at TI's
TI-86 download page.
Here is the download
itself (if you have problems, try holding the shift key when you click)
and here is the online
manual to go with it.
If that doesn't appeal to you, you could use the my
TI-85 program, but mine is far cruder. Check out the package
above, it's worth the time (and it's free and you can download it right
now!)
