Course
Objectives / Big Questions:
- Master matrix operations
- Understand the connections
between matrices and systems of linear equations, and between
matrices and linear operators
- Learn the algebraic and
geometric meanings of solutions spaces, fundamental spaces,
eigenvalues and eigenspaces
- Strengthen our proof writing
and reasoning skills.
Throughout the
course we will emphasize the connections and importance of
algebraic and geometric points of view.
