CS 445: Topics for Dec 4/6/8, 2017

• Continue Lab 8: Final Project.

  • On Friday we will, hopefully, have a few project presentations. Otherwise, we will continue to work on your projects.
  • We will have a sign-up sheet for the presentation time slots so you know what order your will present. Attendance is required.

• Plan for around 8 minutes per project. In order to make the transition between presentations as efficient as possible, the day before, you should plan on testing that everything works (presentation and code) on the computer/display at the teacher station in Ford 202.

• Suggested Presentation:

  • Introduce each partner (this is a formality that should be done even though we know everyone knows you!)
  • Give a brief desciption of your project.
  • Demo the project.
  • Identify, e.g. in a diagram, the key high level components of your program. (We really don't want to see code!)
  • Identify what each partner contributed.
  • What was most challenging?
  • What are you most proud of?
