Assignment 3:
CS 495: Senior Seminar, Fall 2009

By now, you should have a topic chosen. Begin to work on the project proposal by preparing the following:

• Paragraph 1: Give a brief overview/introduction to the topic area.
• Paragraph 2: State the problem you will be working on. Be specific about the final deliverable.
• Provide a rough outline of the key activities you will need to do, e.g. what do you need to learn, implement, etc.
• Include your reference list (including your 1-3 sentence summary for each reference. If there is a clear breakdown, group them according to broad topic.

You will be turning in the above typed brief preliminary proposal.

You should also begin mulling over an outline for your survey paper.
