Clear out unneeded files on cs-render!
Finish reviewing work from Lab 6.
-
Look at Shrek story pitch. Look at Scrat sample story reel, animatics, final.
Lab 7: Story Development :
- Wednesday: Go over stories and rough out storyboards.
- Friday: Work on full sized storyboards and pitch the stories.
Comments on lab 6:
- Shot and task lists were either incomplete or missing altogether. It is important that these are
completely filled out and kept up-to-date.
- Put "shot" and # in the name of the shot files (as opposed to the referenced files). Better yet, also
put referenced files in a separate folder.
- Make sure you have ONE Maya project, and that all of the files needed for rendering are in that project.
- When you create the project, include all of the default subfiles.
- Generally, it is not a good idea to have more then one person working in a scene/shot file.
- Make sure characers and objects are referenced into shot scene file.
-
Looking ahead to the next Monday (Mar 10):
- We will pitch stories, vote on stories, and form groups.
- Story reels need to be made.
- Group members should exchange email addresses and phone numbers (or other contact method),
- Assign reference material to be collected (each person should be responsible for collecting some
of the reference material.)
- Begin to create task list and shot list.
