  • (Not to turn in) You should easily be able to do the basic loop problems below. If you have any difficulties, it is important that you ask for help!!
    • Basic Looping Problems (pdf)

• due Wed morning, Sept 25 at 10am:

  • Read Chapter 5.1 - 5.3: Methods
  • Do the online WileyPlus Chapter 5 Reading Quiz, Part 1.

• due Wed, Sept 25 at 10pm:

  • Do WileyPlus Chp 4 Programming assignment.
    On problem 4.102 be careful - you need to consider what happens when you take the mod of a negative number!
  • (Not to turn in) By now, you should have completed A BlackJack Game Program: Part 1 Loops. Part 1 will not be collected but will serve as the starting point for Part 2 (Part 2 WILL be collected). If you have trouble completing Part 1, it is very important that you ask for help.

• Fri, Sept 27:

  • Continue reading Chapter 5.

Next Week

  • Finish reading Chapter 5: Methods

  • Begin working on BlackJack Part 2: Methods. You will need to download the code BlackJackGameStubs.

• Fri, Oct 4 : Exam 1 !

  • Prof Orr will be out of town.
  • Exam 1 during our lecture time. A proctor will be available.
  • Use the lab time to catch up on lab assignments. The lab assistant will be available.
